Classes conveniently offered at Jefferson College in Hillsboro and at various sites in Arnold.
MBU offers a myriad of upper division courses at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Mo.—affording students the opportunity to complete their degree at the same place where they began their higher education. The 2+2 partnership provides you the means to transfer your general education coursework attained at Jefferson College to MBU, and still graduate in four years. A mixture of main campus faculty and a very select group of practitioners from the Jefferson County area teach classes.

- Administration of Justice
- Applied Management
- Behavioral Science
- Business Administration and Management
- Early Childhood and Elementary Education
- Psychology (with two courses to be taken on the main campus)

Master of Science in Education:
The Master of Science in Education (MSE) degree program is designed for busy teachers, counselors, and administrators. The flexible schedule allows you to take classes when your time permits. Courses are offered year-round and typically meet once a week for eight sessions. Many students also take online courses to fit their particular schedules.
CLASSROOM TEACHING OPTIONS
A variety of options are available through the MSE degree in Classroom Teaching. Students may choose to specialize in the art and science of teaching (Generic), or you may select a unique program feature that allows students with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than Education to earn their initial Missouri State Teacher Certification while pursuing the MSE degree. Both degree seeking and non-degree seeking students may obtain certification in the following areas: K-12 Cross Categorical Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Middle Level Education, Secondary Education, Library Media Specialist, Special Reading and Driver Education.COUNSELOR EDUCATION OPTIONS
The MSE Degree in Counseling meets all of the requirements for Missouri Certification as an Elementary and Secondary School Guidance Counselor. A unique program feature also meets all of the academic requirements to obtain a Professional Counselor Licensure in Missouri. Through the MSE degree, students who do not desire School Counselor Certification may elect to pursue the academic requirements for licensure only. For many, certification as a Psychological Examiner is a logical extension of the counseling degree program. Missouri Baptist University offers this program for individuals who have a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Education.EDUCATIONAL ADMINSTRATION OPTIONS
The Master of Science in Education (MSE) Degree in Educational Administration is designed for individuals interested in becoming Elementary or Secondary School Principals. This program meets all of the academic requirements for certification as a School Administrator by the State of Missouri.
