Missouri Baptist University has a strong spiritual emphasis that can be seen in the lives of its students. Desperately desiring an avenue to use their talents for His glory, many MBU students choose to take part in one of several ministry groups on campus. Ministry groups are available year-round for a variety of occasions including concerts, camps, and benefit events.

 Spirit Wing has been MBU’s premier contemporary Christian vocal performance group for two decades and remains unique in its sound and spiritual appeal at all levels of church life. The Spirit Wing Band backs up nine powerful singers whose Christian commitment and a passion for the lost is a source of inspiration for anyone who hears them. They desire to touch lives for Christ and are servants first, singers second. |

 In Charactre’s members come from all over campus, but unite for one purpose – to share God’s Word through drama. This touring drama troupe ministers through short plays based on parables and Psalms, as well as humorous and dramatic pieces that show God’s hand in everyday life. In Charactre is devoted to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and worshiping Him through drama. |

 Just as Jesus called His disciples in closer to share an intimate truth about living a real and fulfilling life; the four gentleman of Closer want to draw you in to God’s changing power through a mix of great vocals, intricate harmonies, and moving songs and testimonies. Closer blends the best of today’s Southern Gospel music, beloved classics, hymns, and other inspirational songs to share God’s message of grace and love. |

 The four women that compose the vocal group Faithful are just that – faithful to carrying out His command to share Christ’s love with others. The desire to worship the Lord and praise His holy name is the driving force behind the contemporary Christian quartet. Faithful’s versatile repertoire allows them to perform in a wide range of venues such as church concerts, coffee houses, or girls retreats. |

 The MBU Ministry Team is comprised of a group of students who are passionate about what God is doing in their lives and his church worldwide. They are prepared to lead almost any ministry venue including retreats, revivals, D-Now weekends, children’s and youth camps, worship services, or wherever God opens doors for them. They can handle all of your needs for each event including worship, preaching, small group Bible studies, games/recreation, and so much more. Their worship style is acoustic in nature with two guitars, a djembe, piano, and vocals. |
