Director of International Student Services Missouri Baptist University (MBU) is accepting applications for the full-time position of Director of International Student Services (ISS). The Director of ISS will assist the University in implementing its Mission Statement, Purpose Statement and Core Values by serving the school’s international student population. The Director is responsible for managing the University’s compliance with the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a database program managed by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). The Director is also responsible for working with international students from initial interest in the institution through their departure from MBU. The Director serves as the advocate/liaison for MBU’s undergraduate and graduate international students in their interactions with various government agencies as well as campus offices and provides general oversight of all activities involving international students and official international visitors. Working under supervision of the Vice President for Student Development and the Dean of Enrollment Services, the Director will develop and implement the institution’s policies as they apply to undergraduate and graduate international students.
Qualified applicants must be US Citizens or US Legal Permanent Residents, committed Christians, hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and have 3-5 years prior experience working with international students in a college or university setting.

Multimedia Graphics Production Specialist
Missouri Baptist University (MBU) is seeking to fill the position of Multimedia Graphics and Production Specialist. The Multimedia Graphics and Production Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and rendering sophisticated digital and traditional print and online compliant promotional pieces, from art design through production, including the layout, design and production of the award-winning, bi-annual MBU magazine. This position will develop design strategies that both convey a strong institutional identity and effectively support print, video, and online promotional materials, in addition to the fundraising and communications efforts of the university. The Multimedia Graphics Design Manager will be a motivated, inspired, detail-oriented online designer who is in tune with social networking/Web 2.0 capabilities and is aware of how these tools and technologies are used by select "targeted" audiences. This accomplished individual will be willing to "push the envelope/think outside of the box", and yet, maintain the integrity of the university's brand. In addition, critical to this position is the process of developing a solid understanding of the unique needs of the main campus, extension sites, and alumni relations, while conforming to University standards, branding and style guidelines. ASC Proctor (Part-Time)The Academic Success Center currently has an opening for a Proctor during the 2010-2011 school year. The Proctor is responsible for proctoring classroom make-up exams during the afternoon and early evening hours (typically 3-5 p.m.). The ASC Proctor will work up to 10 hours a week.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF WORSHIP ARTS
The Division of Fine Arts is seeking candidates for a full-time, faculty appointment to teach courses in the new Worship Arts program at the main University campus in West Saint Louis County. This appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and education.
Primary responsibilities will include classroom instruction, oversight and/or direction of the University's various ensembles and worship groups. Additional roles will be held in worship support of campus chapel services.
Qualified candidates will have a Master's degree in music from a regionally accredited institution with credentials to teach music and worship arts courses. Candidates with an earned doctorate are desired.
Applicants must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in church worship, understanding the dynamics involved in environments ranging from traditional to emergent. Successful candidates will also have at least general experience in the following related areas: audio and video support, drama, and instrumental/vocal ensemble direction. Previous university/college teaching experience preferred.
