Academic Success Center

The mission of the Academic Success Center (ASC) is to provide services and resources that will enhance student learning in and outside of the classroom environment and thus improve the opportunity each student has to succeed at MBU.

Tutoring Services
Students can meet with a tutor to receive individualized help with various disciplines. We have a walk-in policy for some subjects, while others require an appointment. Please click here for the types of tutoring and available hours.
Writing Lab
Students can meet with a writing coach to receive help with various parts of the writing process including brainstorming, structuring a paper, improving grammar, editing, and properly citing sources. A writing coach is available by appointment only, and the available hours are listed here.
Testing Services
Classroom make-up exams and assessment tests are coordinated through the ASC. Testing hours and assessment dates can be found here.
Special Needs Access
The Special Needs Office provides services for individuals with major life disabilities such as physical handicaps, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, visual impairments, hearing impairments, and/or medical disabilities.
