Deontre Amerson graduated from Cleveland NJROTC in 2019 as top scholars and The Battalion Commander.  After school, he started working for the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department as the records and social media manager. He later transferred departments, working for the Edwardsville Illinois Police Department as a Public Safety Officer in the Community Division. In 2022, he was offered a position as Campus Public Safety Officer at Harris-Stowe State University. Within 1 year, Deontre was promoted to Sergeant and worked during many different tasks and investigations. Deontre joined MBU’s Public Safety team as a part time officer in the beginning of semester of 2023, and began full time in March of 2024.

Deontre was born and raised in the Saint Louis area. He loves to spend time with his nephew and play video games during his free time.
