Mission Statement

In the College of Business & Entrepreneurship’s School of Accounting, Business Administration, & Technology, the Cybersecurity program provides a curriculum from a Christian worldview with strong core technical knowledge in the specialization of Cybersecurity.  We are committed to providing a high-quality education that stresses a Christ-centered excellence in scholarship and ethical application of cybersecurity skills to develop tomorrow’s cybersecurity leaders. The goal is to prepare students to meet the business information security challenges that are constantly changing as cyber-crime advances. College of Business & Entrepreneurship students are encouraged to join the opportunities for networking with students, faculty, and professionals at events such as the Career & Internship Fair, to identify a career path where they can make an impact for God’s glory.

The cybersecurity major is offered online.

Requirements for degree conferral:

  • At least 24 of the last 32 hours taken at Missouri Baptist University
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale (those seeking certification must achieve a GPA of 2.75)
  • At least 42 hours of Upper Division (54 for a dual degree)
  • At least 120 total credit hours (144 for a dual degree)
