Returning MBU students who do not have housing accommodations and are applying for the first time:
- Housing accommodations will be accepted beginning March 10, 2025.
All housing accommodation applications under this category must be submitted and approved by June 6, 2025. Any applications under this category submitted after that date will experience a delayed process and be subject to availability. Returning students cannot apply for housing accommodations in January.
Steps for Returning Students who do not have Housing Accommodations
Applying for Housing Accommodations can seem overwhelming, but the Office of Student Accessibility Services is here to help. Most importantly, know our office is praying for your success here at MBU. We are thankful God led you our way and that we have the opportunity to serve you.
Please complete the following steps:
Step One
You must have an accepted housing application on file with ResLife.
Step Two
Email the Office of Student Accessibility Services asking for an appointment.
Step Three
The housing application will require a letter from a licensed medical professional (doctor/counselor). The Office of Student Accessibility Services will provide more guidelines about this documentation when meeting with you. Documentation, such as MyChart records or Office summaries are not acceptable.
Step Four
After meeting with the Office of Student Accessibility Services and completing the application/documents, the Office of Student Accessibility Services will send your HSA (Housing Specific Accommodations) to your student email and ResLife. You are also responsible for letting ResLife know you have been approved for housing accommodations.
Step Five
Please be aware that if you are applying for an ESA, there are additional steps in this process. Please ask the Office of Student Accessibility for next steps!
