Ruth Meyer Hollenback is an Adjunct Professor in our School of Communication, currently teaching Speech Communications and Appreciation of Film. Other areas of interest include Intercultural Communication and Business Communication.
Professor Hollenback spent over 30 years leading teams, making and delivering sales presentations and developing business communication at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Cigna. After receiving her M.B.A, she taught business and management courses at Fontbonne University and Missouri Baptist University. After receiving her M.A. in Communications Management she’s taught communication courses at Missouri Baptist University and Jefferson College.
When not teaching, she loves to travel. Her favorite trip was a tour to Israel and Jordan, visiting many of the site where Jesus and his followers walked. Other notable trips include Germany, where she and her family visited WWII landmarks.
During the summer, Professor Hollenback can usually be found at Lake of the Ozarks. She and her husband of 35 years enjoy boating with their two adult children.
