Dr. Shawn P. Behan is a graduate of Drury University (BA – Religious Studies), Denver Seminary (MA – Leadership), Fuller Theological Seminary (ThM – Intercultural Studies), and Asbury Theological Seminary (PhD – Intercultural Studies). A native of St. Louis, Dr. Behan grew up 5 minutes down the road from MBU and moved home after the completion of his PhD. While an Instructor of English Composition at MBU, Dr. Behan guides first-year students in developing their writing skills for college. He loves working with students to help them grow both academically and personally through their college years. Dr. Behan is a big St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan, and relishes being home and getting to attend games again; and when the weather is warm, Dr. Behan can be found on any number of golf courses in the area.
