Adjunct Instructor – Counseling - Missouri Baptist University (Mobap)

Location: St. Louis, MO (remote work considered for candidates who meet institutional requirements)

The CACREP- Accredited Counselor Education Department at Missouri Baptist University seeks nominees and applicants for Adjunct Instructors in the areas of School or Clinical Mental Health Counseling to teach master’s-level core counseling courses across various delivery platforms, including in-person on MBU’s main campus, online (asynchronous), and/or livestream. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master’s in counseling (CACREP accredited master’ preferred) and five years post-master’s experience in a clinical or school counseling setting. 
  2. Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure as a mental health counselor or school counselor.
  3. Strong counselor identity, including scholarship, service, and experience in the field of counseling.
  4. Experience teaching in higher education preferred.
  5. Candidates must embrace a student-centered approach and have a passion for serving students.
